Fethiye has direct connections to many cities in Turkey including Marmaris, Bodrum, Antalya, Izmir, and Istanbul. (which costs 90 TL per person and takes around 14 hours) among others.
The nearest airport served by international airlines is at Dalaman Airport which is about one hour to Fethiye. There is also a bus service from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye, run by Havaş. Another airport is Antalya which is about three hours driving.
D400 highway links Fethiye with north (Marmaris, and onward to Muğla and Southern Aegean) and east (Antalya), along the Lycian coastline. However, from Antalya, there is also a mountain road (numbered D350—and E87 for part of its route) which is in a good condition via Korkuteli and also has a branch going north to Denizli. D350 significantly has shorter route than the coastal D400.
From April to October, the weather and the sea in Aegean and Mediterranean Sea are suitable for cabin charter. It occasionally rains during these months, but the rain is limited to a few hours maximum.
